Discover Camp Knew York
Hey everyone!
I’m thrilled to share something truly awesome that my friend Mira Mariah is hosting this summer: Camp Knew York in Bellport, Long Island! Although I’ve recently moved to the windy city and won’t be able to attend, I’ll be there in spirit, sending all my love and good vibes from afar.
I first met Mira a few years ago when I slid into her DMs on Instagram. We quickly connected in real life, and she’s since become a close friend. Mira has brought so much creativity, love, and fun into my world. I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out at her studio on many occasions, where I got to help out and bond with all the Knew York girls. Plus, I’ve had the chance to get to know Mira’s wonderful family, making these experiences even more special. One of my favorite memories is modeling for one of her drawing classes—how cool is that?
So, when Mira told me about Camp Knew York, I knew it was going to be something amazing.
Camp Knew York is not your average summer camp—it’s a creative and adventurous paradise where you can discover new hats, make lifelong friends, create stunning art, or even get a fresh tattoo. Your adventure, your choice!
Here’s what you can look forward to:
✨ Artistic Oasis: Every day at Camp Knew York is an artistic journey! Dive into a variety of art classes where you can experiment with oil pastels, paints, and natural elements to create layered artworks. Write poems, sketch on the lawn, and explore your creative side with Mira Mariah leading the way.
🌿 Unforgettable Experiences: Enjoy quirky activities like bad advice sessions and hair braiding circles. Each moment is a chance to forge new friendships and make memories that will last a lifetime.
🌟 Chill Vibes: Cool off on hot summer days with refreshing lemonade or treat yourself to Mr. Softee’s delights. My favorite is Cherry Dip ;) Evenings are perfect for relaxing around the bonfire, sharing laughter, and soaking up the good vibes.
Camp Knew York will run on August 7th, 9th, and 13th, with day passes ranging from $550 to $850. It’s a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in creativity and adventure for a day or more!
I’m especially excited to see all the amazing tattoos people will get during camp. I’m lucky that Mira has given me a few tattoos over the years. Just recently, she tattooed my childhood nickname, “Sweet Lou,” on me, and I absolutely love it.
